Celebrate With Me!

The redesign of this website is done and I think it looks FABULOUS, don’t you? Many, many thanks go to web maven Laird Sapir of Memphis McKay for her patience in working with me. Completion of the redesign is worthy of a celebration all by itself, but I don’t want to party by myself. Come on! Celebrate with me! Lynette M. Burrows science fiction author; Lynette M. 1. Yay! Great site, Lynette! Isn’t Laird a talented gal? She did my website, too, and I love it!

Enjoy, and may it inspire many more wonderful blog posts!

    1. Thanks, Kathy! I am delighted with the site. (I like yours, too!) You’re right, Laird is wonderful to work with. Thanks for the wishes for inspiration.

    1. How exciting, Marcy! I know you’ll love yours as much as I do mine! Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Hi, Lynn. Thanks for coming to the party. Are you and punkin dancin’ to the music? I know I am. Hope you’re having a good time.

  2. Great looking site and I’m jealous :), and motivated to start my oh so dreaded blog. One of my favorite joys is to finish a project and finish it well. You have, and congratulations!

    1. Hi, Bonnie! I love your favorite joy “to finish a project and finish it well.” Yup, I’m kicking up my heels that this project is done. 🙂 Thanks so much for the kind words.

    1. Here’s the bubbly right here, Diane. Watch the bubbles don’t get in your nose! Oh, and have some of my favorite treats to go with the good stuff: powdered mini donuts and chocolate covered strawberries. Yum. Thanks so much for coming to the party!

    1. Thanks, CC! Nothing as steamy as your books over here, unless you’re talking rocket engines. But have some of the chocolate covered strawberries, I’m sure you know how to eat them. 😉 By the way, I agree, leading applause for Laird!

  3. Yay Lynette! This looks fantastic! I have helped myself to the bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries. Yummy! Doesn’t this now renew your drive to blog now? Laird did a wonderful job. She’s amazing at putting your ideas into existence. I am so happy for you Lynette! Congratulations! 🙂

    1. Karen, you’re right about Laird taking ideas expressed by the client (me) and transforming things into a beautiful and functional site. Yes, my drive to blog has been renewed by the new site AND by all of you, my wonderful supporters. Without friends like you, Karen, this blog would have died on the vine. Thanks so much for all your support!

    1. Thanks, Coleen. So glad you like the site and the font. Laird was great at adding all kinds of cool little details. Have some gluten-free powdered donuts (they’re calorie-free, too!) and enjoy the party. 🙂

  4. Oh, I really love this font! Your site looks awesome, Lynette! Are all the chocolate-covered strawberries gone? If so, I’ll take one of those calorie-free donuts.

Congrats to Laird, too. Another terrific job (she redid my site and our misterio press site).

    1. Oh, no we have plenty of chocolate-covered strawberries – my replicator can produce an endless supply! Thanks for coming to the party, Kassandra!

  5. I think this looks awesome! Very George Jetson-y. It immediately made me think this is a fun place to hang out.

Will Rosie bring me marshmallows every time I stop by? 🙂

    1. Absolutely! Fresh marshmallows straight from the replicator or toasted over the virtual fire. 😀
